Terms of use

1. About the service

Verkform is a SaaS service provided by Atropical AS (org. no. 926 176 390) that lets tradespeople create and publish a professional website. By creating an account you accept these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential. The account is personal and may not be transferred to anyone else without written consent from Atropical AS. You must be at least 18 years old and acting on behalf of a registered company to use the service.

3. Payment and subscription

Verkform is billed as an annual subscription. Current prices are shown on our website. Payment is taken by card at the time of ordering and the subscription renews automatically each year. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are unhappy, request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing hey-ho@atropical.no. Note that the domain registration fee (NOK 99 for .no, NOK 199 for .dk, NOK 249 for .se) is not refundable once the domain has been registered on your behalf — in that case it is deducted from the refund.

4. Hosting and domain

Hosting is included in the subscription and applies for as long as the subscription is active. Every customer gets a free Verkform address in the form verkform.com/@yourcompany.

Registration of one domain is included in the subscription. Domain registration is carried out by Webhuset AS (org. no. 986 276 858) on behalf of Atropical AS. The domain belongs to the customer and is retained if the subscription is cancelled.

If you already own a domain, we can help you connect it to your site. You then remain responsible for its registration and renewal with your own registrar.

5. Content and rights

You are responsible for holding the necessary rights to all content you upload or use on your website — text, images and logo alike. This applies whether the content is your own, licensed, or taken from publicly available sources.

You grant Verkform a limited licence to display that content as part of the service. You are responsible for ensuring it does not infringe third-party rights, Norwegian law, or good business practice. Atropical AS may remove content or close accounts that breach these terms without notice.

6. AI-generated content

Verkform offers AI-assisted content generation as an aid. All AI-generated content is a suggestion — you are responsible for checking and approving it before publishing. Atropical AS is not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated material.

7. Availability and limitation of liability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Atropical AS is not liable for losses resulting from downtime, data loss or other disruptions, beyond what mandatory Norwegian law requires.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date counts as acceptance.

9. GDPR and privacy on your website

When you add tracking tools (for example Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) through "Custom head code" in the editor, you alone are responsible for ensuring their use complies with data protection law (GDPR). In particular you must:

• have a valid legal basis (usually consent) for the data collection,
• inform visitors about it in a privacy policy on your site,
• put the necessary data processing agreements in place with the tracking providers.

Verkform automatically shows a consent banner on your site and provides a standard privacy page at /personvern on your domain as a starting point, but this does not replace your duty to ensure the processing is lawful. Atropical AS is not liable for the consequences of unlawful data collection carried out through code you added yourself.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes are to be resolved amicably where possible. Failing agreement, Oslo District Court is the agreed venue.
