The website
Do I need a domain?
No. A domain for your market is included in the subscription. If you would rather use one you already own, that works too. You can also run the site on a Verkform address without your own domain at all.
Is the domain included?
Yes — registering one domain is included in the subscription, and we handle the registration for you through our partner. If you already have a domain, we will help you point it at your site.
Do I need project references on my site?
Short answer: no. But showing your own work is one of the best ways to demonstrate your standards to a prospective customer. If you do not supply any, Verkform will generate a representative example from your trade and experience, using generic copy.
Can I customise things?
Not really. Customisation complicates things, and Verkform is about simplicity — everything is designed to work together. If you need a bespoke solution, take a look at atropical.no.
How many design templates can I choose from?
Five: Alpha, Register, Atelier, Press and Signal. Each has its own colour themes, and you can switch template at any time — your content comes with you.
What about photographs?
A good photograph is the single most effective way to show your work. It is worth spending real time getting them right — we strongly recommend it.
How will my site rank on Google?
Honestly: you are unlikely to outrank large companies spending heavily on ads, so probably not at the top. But every Verkform site is built to get the most out of a single page — quality content, relevant keywords and specificity, which is what the algorithms reward.

How long until my site is live?
Usually straight away, on a Verkform address. If you are using your own domain it can occasionally take a day or two to appear everywhere, though it is often much faster. We keep you posted and tell you when everything is ready.
How do I change the information on my site?
Go to Websites in your dashboard and choose Edit. You change text, images, services and prices directly on the page, then publish when you are happy. Structural changes beyond what the template offers are not possible.
How do I get my appointments into my phone's calendar?
Go to Calendar → Sync and copy your calendar link. Add it as a subscribed calendar: in Google Calendar under "Other calendars" → "From URL", on an iPhone under Settings → Calendar → Accounts → "Add Subscribed Calendar", and in Outlook under "Add calendar" → "Subscribe from web". Appointments update by themselves; you make changes in Verkform.
Do my customers get the appointment in their own calendar?
Yes. When you confirm an appointment, the customer gets an email with a calendar invitation and buttons for Google and Outlook. If you move or cancel it, their copy updates too.
I am not receiving emails from my contact form.
Check your spam folder first, and mark the message as not spam if you find it there. If it is not there, check that the email address you gave us is correct. If both look fine, get in touch and we will investigate.
Payment
Do you offer discounts?
No, we do not offer discounts.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards via Stripe.
Is it secure?
Yes. We use Stripe for payments — one of the best payment platforms in the world, if not the best.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee: if you are unhappy, ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Note that the domain registration fee (NOK 99 for .no, NOK 199 for .dk, NOK 249 for .se) is not refundable once the domain has been registered, and is deducted from the refund in that case.
What does the subscription cost?
The subscription is NOK 10,000 excl. VAT per year and renews automatically each year. You can cancel at any time.
